Refund and Cancellation Policy

At A-1 Certified Service Inc, we strive to provide exceptional service and customer satisfaction. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing cancellations and refunds for our HVAC products and installation services. By placing an order or scheduling an installation with us, you agree to be bound by this policy.
Cancellations Prior to Product Ordering You may cancel your order at any time prior to us placing an order for equipment or materials with our suppliers without incurring any fees. To cancel, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. Any deposits or payments made will be fully refunded within 14 business days, subject to your financial institution’s processing times.
Cancellations After Product Ordering but Before Installation If you wish to cancel after we have ordered equipment or materials on your behalf, a 10% restocking fee will apply to the total cost of all ordered equipment and materials. This fee covers supplier restocking charges, administrative costs, and handling expenses.
The remaining balance (90% of the equipment and material costs, plus any applicable service or labor fees paid) will be refunded.
Refunds will be issued within 14–30 business days after we receive confirmation from suppliers that returned items have been accepted (where applicable).
Custom-ordered or specially manufactured items may not be eligible for return or may be subject to additional supplier-imposed fees beyond the standard 10% restocking fee.
Cancellations After Installation Team Arrival Once our installation team has arrived at the property and begun work, the order is considered non-cancellable. This is due to the commitment of specialized labor, scheduling, and resources dedicated to your project. No refunds will be issued for labor, equipment, or materials at this stage, except as required by applicable consumer protection laws.
Refunds for Completed Installations Refunds after installation are not provided, as our work is custom to your property’s specifications. However, we stand behind our workmanship. If you believe there is a defect in materials or installation, please refer to our Limited Warranty for repair, replacement, or other remedies.
General Terms
All refund requests must be submitted in writing.
Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment.
We reserve the right to deduct any non-refundable fees, delivery charges, or costs already incurred.
This policy does not affect any rights you may have under applicable federal, state, or local consumer protection laws. In the event of any conflict, statutory rights will prevail.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with the effective date.
